In recent years, children’s book market has been changing fast. It provides kindergartens and teachers with great convenience to choose for the curriculum resources. So more and more children’s books go into the children’s daily life. Many of the classical and excellent children’s books enrich the kindergarten curriculum resources. Comparing with other education stage, kindergartens have more freedom when they are choosing books for the children, especially for children’s daily reading materials. However, due to the lack of scientific guidance and understanding of the equipment and usage of children’s book, many questions appear. Does the children’s books in need of today’s children’s development? Has these children’s books equipped been fully used? These questions are all worthy researching. The subjects of this Study are chosen from the City of Guiyang in 10 different regions and levels of kindergarten. In this study, many principals and teachers, regional activities book area were investigated. I do all these things to analyze the existing problems of the equipment and usage of books in kindergarten and to summarize the conditions of it. Based on the analyses, I put forward my suggestions and countermeasures. It may provide some references.This study consists of four parts:The first part is an introduction. It introduces the research background of the study, significance of the study, literature review and Research methods. The second part is about the investigation and analysis of the book equipment and usage condition. It discusses the subject and the way of children’s book equipment, the basis of the equipment, the number of the equipment, the specials of the equipment, the recent changes of the books and the kindergarten books using environment, the current situation of the use of books in teaching activities, regional activities and daily life activities.The third part summarizes existing problems of the kindergarten library equipment and its usage. Then, its causes were analyzed.On the fourth part, in view of the problems and reasons existing in Equipping and Using kindergarten books, put forward the corresponding educational suggestions.
