In Chinese society, under the influenceof many macro socio-cultural,there are many concept of culture gradually accumulated and refined insecular social life, Such as,“Favorâ€,“Faceâ€,“Yuanâ€,“Fate†and so on. These concepts reflect a socialmaterial culture, culture of system, culture of concept, they are internalized into the collective unconsciousof people, and have a profound impact on the social behavior of the Chinese people. By analysis of thesecultural concepts, we can find the link between people’s implicit psychologic in secular life and socialculture. Lin Yue Sheng has described that "life have three most difficulty ‘face’-‘favor face’,‘money face’,and ‘scene face’â€. However, the analysis about favor-theme is not much, Largely confinedto the scope of the sociology and literature, explored by the way of summary to narrate and reason, whichresult that the native concept of “favor†has not formed strong theoretical construct in the field ofpsychology. Because “favor’ have great differences in individual and strong implicitness, So this articlechoose qualitative research methods to explore. College students have the characteristics of the times, so Ichoose the college students as study groups to explore the "favor" concept in their mind. Thus reflects thechanges that occur in the human concept under the influence of material and spiritual life’ overflyingchange.This research through qualitative research methods is to solve the following problems:(1) Bycollege students to carry out sentences about the term “favorâ€, we hope to understand their overallknowledge and understanding on “favorâ€.(2) Through open-ended questionnaire survey, we hope tounderstand college students how treat and evaluate favor.(3) Through in-depth interviews, we hope tounderstand the reason of college students’ psychology and behavior of favor, and they think favor is need tobe done in what scene while it is not need to be done in what scene, and what are their needs and motivation to do “favorâ€? How do college students treat and deal with pressure of “favorâ€? What arecollege students’ dilemmas of “favor†as well as what are the factors causing these dilemmas?Finally obtain the following key findings:1College students’ concept of “favor†overall emphasis on the emotional components of “favorâ€,more understanding is the original meaning of the “favorâ€.2College students’ concept of “favor†approaches the concept of the traditional sense of the“favorâ€, In the very great degree, which is not the concept of alienation.3College students’ experience the dimension model of “favor†roughly divide into cultural,interactive, reality, ritual, variability, social, principle.4College students’ evaluation about concept of "favor" in today’s society reflects that “favorâ€have dual social function.5Negative evaluation of the college students about concept of favor in today’s society highlightstheir dilemma of operating favor.
