The development of social economy and the progress of science and technology provide a powerful dynamic for the development of sports, Nowadays, sports is moving towards to the socialization, professionalism, economization. With the implementation of the "scientific concept of development" in various sectors of the society, sports utilities also pays more attention to its "sustainable development".In this context, the quality of sport talents is more and more comprehensive. High level athletes in colleges and universities,as new groups of era development, is talent reserves of our county and the backbone of the construction of our country’s sports "sustainable development", which requires the cultivation of high level athletes in colleges and universities meet the needs of social development, and also could stand the test. However, the cultural qualities has been the weakness of the development of our athletes; Similarly, the cultural quality of high level athletes in universities also affects the quality of their success.This subject in the perspective of "success theory" to build high level athlete in universities a new connotation, in order to comply with the scientific development under the background of the social structure of sports talents in their own quality, at the same time, use the problems between high level athlete in colleges self-development and the cultural quality education, analyzes its reason, and then put forward some countermeasures. The paper will come to the conclusions as follows:1、Use learn and Marxism theory about person’s full scale development theory as instruction, the author put forward high level athletes’success is refers to the high level athlete in universities by accepting education of institutions of higher learning system and the necessary training, constantly improve their ideological and moral quality, cultural quality, psychological quality and motor skills, comprehensive development, to complete their studies, and make a creative contribution to social progress through their own efforts.2、Cultural quality education could promote a better growth and success to university athletes, and also could enrich their cultural quality education in theory, at the same time show the results of college quality education, it is a win-win situation.3、For high level athlete in universities, there exist some objective problems, the high level athlete’s cultural quality education in colleges and universities exists a target utilitarian, such as,utilitarian target, value competition,neglect culture, sophisticated training mode, highlight profession and neglect cultivation.the loose management,highlight results and neglect process.4、After analyze the problem, this paper proposes to establish a correct concept of talent, and cultivate educated athletes; following rules of scientific talent, improving train system; inspiring positive motivation of being talent, focus on ideological education of athletes,These three countermeasures aims to improve and enhance the quality of the high level athlete’s cultural quality education in universities, and promote high level athlete in universities become better and better.
