Study On The Application Of Social Work Philosophy And Methods In The Work Of College Counselors

Along with the further popularization of higher education,colleges and universities have a large number of "after90",student’s quality is uneven,the overall quality of the student experienced a noticeable decline,especially some new undergraduate course colleges and universities,the overall quality of students is worrying,this makes the counselor faces a series of new problems and new challenges,we have to improve on theory and methods, in order to adapt to the new situation.The paper takes the counselors and students as the objects of the research,the research is based on the method of questionnaire survey, interview method and observational method as minor.The main content of this paper is divided into three parts,the first part is the analysis of the role of satisfaction and expectation of the counselor survey;the second part is the Investigation and analysis of the current situation and existing problems of the work of counselors,the third part is the research about the intervention of school social work.Based on investigation,I find that The students’satisfaction with the counselor is not high. The exchanges between counselors and students are too little,the counselors can not provide prompt medical treatment to the problems of the students,these are the chief reasons.The students hope that instructor’s roles are mentor,the people who have good communication and co-ordination making capacity,guide.The counselor’s work has the following problems at present:working ideas and methods are backward,service awareness is not strong,work enthusiasm is low,specialization level should be improved.The paper research that how can school social work intervene in counselor’s work from three parts of school social work:idea, model,method,refine counselor’s work under the guidelines of the ideas and methods of school social work,helping the counselor to walk out of predicament. Without considering the interferences of outside factors is the chief problem of the research,the paper is lack of the research about the difficulties and resistance which will come true during the process of i intervention.The full text is divided into six parts:the first part elaborating the research background,objective significance and status of the subject to set a clear idea of this research and research methods.
