This paper explored the implication of implicit social satisfaction and explicit social satisfaction, and then the current situation of social satisfaction. Based on the theory of collective action, we proposed that social satisfaction may be the cause of collective action. Then we adopted the questionnaires of implicit social satisfaction, explicit social satisfaction, and collective action intention to investigate the people who was in the non-conflict area and in the conflict area. The results revealed:(1) In the non-conflict area, people’s implicit social satisfaction was satisfied, while their explicit social satisfaction was unsatisfied.(2) In the conflict area, people’s implicit social satisfaction was satisfied but not significant, while their explicit social satisfaction was also unsatisfied.(3) Both in the non-conflict area and in the conflict area, the implicit social satisfaction couldn’t forecast the collective action intention, while the explicit social satisfaction might forecast the collective action intention. For the low social satisfaction, low explicit social satisfaction had greater influence on collective action intention than low implicit social satisfaction. For the high social satisfaction, the collective action intention of high implicit social satisfaction was significantly higher than high explicit social satisfaction. When people’s implicit social satisfaction was high while their explicit social satisfaction was low, the collective action intention was the most intense. When people’s implicit social satisfaction was low while their explicit social satisfaction was high, the collective action intention was the weakest.
