With the development of economic and technological progress, rural productionand living conditions are much improved, but with the rise of the living conditions,the transfer of rural labor to urban phenomenon. Associated with the phenomenon ofthe young labor force in rural areas, a large number of left-behind children in ruralareas. Childhood is the initial stage of human’s society, this stage of the process ofsocial success affect other stages of socialization. The children at this stage oflearning and imitation family language, behavior, within the family values, norms,attitudes. The nature of social work is helping people help themselves, to help peoplewho need help to help themselves, from the point of view of social work interventionchildren left behind, and it is hoped to reach the children left behind can improve andsolve the problem by workers in a given mode. This article through questionnaires,case interviews and social work casework, group work and community work on theproblems of rural children left behind is understood that the use of social workmethods involved in this problem, through the process and results of the interventionanalysis the solution to the problem of children left behind recommendations. Fromthe point of view of social work to help children left behind, and hope to alleviate theproblems now faced by the children left behind, and then solve the problem. Thispaper aims to increase the involvement of social work methods of children left behindin rural life, education, cultural level, and thus conducive to China’s overallpopulation life, education, cultural level further. Safeguard the legitimate rights andinterests of rural left-behind children in our society is a reflection of fairness andjustice, is conducive to a harmonious society construction and development.
