The Study On Social Work Intervention Concerning Countryside Left-behind Children Safety Problems

As the reform and opening-up policy taking in practice, the big step forward for the construction of urbanization and the comprehensively deepen reform of countryside economic system have taken place, one hundred and forty million countryside labor flocked to the cities to work there. Due to household registration system and other reasons,more migrant stayers left their children in the countryside, leading to take care of them by the friends and relatives. Thus, a large number of "countryside left-behind children" began to come out. Especially in farm slack season reason,a lot of male young labor go out to earn money, left only women and children. Due to the weak safety awareness and poor ability of self-protection to the left person, in recent years,countryside left-behind children suffering accident harm, death and even the illegal cremation and the safety problems are considerably obviously. Therefore, the innovation of countryside left-behind children safety management measures and strengthening the safety management in countryside left-behind children are urgently required. According to the author survey in Sep, in 2015, the safety problems of countryside left-behind children are ubiquity, especially in summer, drawing accidents happen frequently (according to the FeiXi county public security bureau). With the continuous development of urbanization in our country, the number of migrant stayers and countryside left-behind children will be increasing, and the security problems will be more and more rigorous. Childhood period are crucial to shape character building, accumulate knowledge and form the building of the outlook of the life and the values. Countryside left-behind children are missing parents concern, love and lacking of education of security, they may have emotional instability, behavioral biases and safety problems. The national government department PCC pays high attention to countryside left-behind children protection working, government work conference and the documents have pointed out that a series of important measures should be carried out with regared to further care and protection of left-behind children. On January 27,2016, the 121st executive meeting of the state council passed "the state council on strengthening the protection and love of countryside left-behind children opinion". The party central committee and state council pay more attention. Strengthening the cooperation of various departments, providing healthy growing up environment, effectively solving countryside left-behind children safety problems caused the attention of the whole society.Social work guided by professional knowledge is the subject of helping others and self-helping. Considering the left-behind children are building the outlook of the life and the values, helping them set up correct safety consciousness and the influence of safety education is especially important to them. In this paper, taking left-behind children in H community, FeiXi County as the research object, using literature research, questionnaire survey, the non-structured interview and so on to understand the current situation of countryside left-behind children safety problems. Starting from the professional values of social work, in combination with Maslow’s demand theory, inductive security requirements of left-behind children, using the theory of social learning and social support theory and combining the current situation to analyze the reasons for hidden safety problem about left-behind children. By using group work and community work intervention, developing countryside left-behind children support each other group activities, have effective intervention to the H community left-behind children themselves, family, school and environment, to find the feasible pattern for society work intervention in countryside left-behind children safety problem. The purpose is to find the new and scientific solution of the current countryside left-behind children safety problems. The method is letting society work intervention in, popularizing safety knowledge, improving the safety awareness, increasing the countryside left-behind children the ability of preventing accidental injury.
