Twenty-first century is a stereo time that emphasizes competition andseeks cooperation. The number of cooperation is mentioned morefrequently in twenty-first century, because cooperation will be a win-winsituation. The new curriculum reformation aims to change students’learning style and pay attention to improving students’ comprehensivequality. One of the new learning styles----cooperative learning----has beenwidely used in high school classroom teaching and the effect issurprisingly.This paper mainly uses the questionnaire method, combined withindividual interviews to investigate the cooperative learning in the ordinaryrural high school Chinese teaching. As we can see, to some extent, whetherteachers or students have misunderstanding in theory or practice.The author also develop an experimental operation of cooperativelearning in the high school language classroom. Comparing the result ofcooperative learning class and non-experimental class, includingobserving the enthusiasm of learning in the classroom, team spirit, emotionattribution, it is very necessary to carry out cooperative learning in highschool Chinese teaching in the rural areas. Through the study of theory andpractising personally, the author thinks over using cooperative learning andsummarise the effect of the cooperative learning in the present high school,the aim is to study experience, learn from it, which can let the cooperativelearning have greatly influence on the English teaching.
