The innovation of the teaching materials for the primary and secondary schoolsis the central issue of the whole education innovation, as the important links, theresearch and construction of Chinese textbook for high schools play more and moreimportant roles, especially under the background of teaching reformation of the NewCurriculum.When we are faced with the following conditions, like the frameworks ofthe teaching materials become more complicated after many revisions and thecompiling becomes more difficult, the textbook diverges from the characteristics ofChinese and the cognitive laws of students; it has certain of current significance tolook closely at the frustration of Chinese textbook since one century, learn thesesuccesses from it and carry on the comparative study between Chinese textbook andforeign language textbook with an developing crossover-view.The Chinese Textbookfor Senior2in the second phase of New Curriculum Reform of Shanghai (Grade seven,published by Shanghai Education Publishing House in May,2009, which will hereafterbe referred to as the Shanghai Education Edition) and the book version of JapaneseHIKARIMURA“National language”(National language1, which is published inFebruary,2009by HIKARIMURA Book Publishing Ltd.) are used as cases studies in thisthesis.This thesis does a static comparative study from the microcosmic point of view,analyzes each characteristic and defines the difference and the sameness of thesetwo textbooks. Basing on these, it provides the advices in optimizing and perfectingthe native Chinese textbook.Firstly, this paper analyzes the major background ofcomposing of these two editions—the developing outline of Sino-Japanmother-tongue textbooks, discusses the different curriculum standard, takes it as thecultural background and the theoretical basis of comparison on teachingmaterials.Secondly, take the two version of the compiling system as thebreakthrough point. In vertical direction, it analyzes the context of the ShanghaiEducation Edition and the book version of Japanese HIKARIMURA“Nationallanguage”. In horizontal direction,it analyzes the content of these two textbookscarefully, take the text part, the exercises and the appendix part as an example.Finally, this paper discusses the enlightenment of the book version of Japanese HIKARIMURAto the compiling of Shanghai Education Edition’s senior Chinese textbook or otherlocal Chinese teaching materials, from the aspects of paying attention to studentssubject learning status, the promotion of literary education combined with readingeducation, attaching great importance to the integration of traditional experiencesand modern life.
