Students’ interest in mathematics in high school will affect their future researchdirections. Multimedia technology, as an effective teaching method, can deliver to thestudent the teachers’ information through the visual, diverse, and rich patterns,effectively stimulate and strengthen the students’ interest in mathematics, reduce theteachers’ hand-painting and writing time, increase classroom information density, anddisplay " the combination of numbers and shapes” directly through visualcommunication, improving students’ logical thinking ability and the teaching qualitygoal. Therefore, this study mainly focuses on multimedia applications in mathematicsteaching.This research mainly adopts literature research: through the study of the collectingand organizing of early literature research, induction and collation to extract usefulviewpoint, for the relevant evidence and support views; Comparative analysis: basedon his professor’s class according to the multimedia teaching before, during and afterthe implementation of "attention" and "learning" two dimensions of description,interpretation, juxtaposition, and comparison, to discover differences, come to aconclusion, summing up experience, improve teaching; Empirical survey method: thisstudy through interview survey form, understand the student acceptance ofmultimedia in the teaching, and find the problems existing in the application in theinvestigation and statistical analysis to investigate the situation, find the existingproblems in multimedia teaching.After getting familiar with the background, related theory, and the characteristics ofmultimedia technology, we analyze the advantage and necessity of its application inthe high school mathematics teaching, and emphasize on the study of applicationeffect. At the same time, the paper will also discuss on the application of multimediain mathematics teaching, try to minimize the application of multimedia technology inteaching, to enhance the quality of teaching, and to provide some ideas and referencefor the math teaching.At the end of the thesis, puts forward some solutions, such as in the production of multimedia courseware in pay attention to "moderate" principle;Enhance student participation of multimedia teaching and to strengthen the attentionof students, to reduce its reliance on multimedia technology, the teacher shouldactively use the advantages of multimedia technology and the progress of the industryitself, and in the practice of teaching according to their own situation to improve andutilize, implement teaching means of the rich and the improvement of teachingquality.
