The Development And Application Of Chifeng Local History Curriculum Resources In High School History Teaching

The competition has become intensified after entering the new century,which also puts forward new challenges to education. A new round ofcurriculum reform in our country came into being. The local course received aconsiderable attention, and local history resources thus obtained a certaindegree of development after widespread implementation of the curriculumreform in recent years. At the request of the new curriculum standards, how touse local history resources reasonably in high school history class isparticularly important.However, in the reality of high school history teaching, the developmentand utilization of the local history resources is not very satisfactory, or evenignored. In Chifeng area as an example, the author finds that the localhistory curriculum resources are rarely used in high school history class.Some teachers do not mention the local history, resulting in many students ’lack of knowledge of the history of his hometown. So,the research on thedevelopment and utilization of local history curriculum resources in the highschool history teaching is very necessary, which also has a very importantsignificance in improving the students’ interest in learning history, enrichinghistorical knowledge, and developing students’ love for hometown and forthe motherland.The author proceeds from the development of local history curriculumresources in the aspects such as the necessity, significance and methods,gives a detailed analysis of how to apply the local history curriculumresources in Chifeng to the high school history teaching, and summarizes the problems found in the use, so that it can be gradually improved in the futureteaching. The author hopes to improve the teachers’ knowledge of localhistory curriculum resources, make full development and utilization ofChifeng region’s rich local history curriculum resources, in order to promotereform of history curriculum and realize the teaching goals.
