The affect of Vocational Values to Employment Choices is not a new topic in the fieldof psychology in West, however, the research according to China’s reality is very few. Theunderstanding of College Students to employment choices in China has a huge differencewith the mature foreign Employment Choices theory, and this difference make me can thelp pondering. It is probably caused by Eastern and Western differences in culture, orcaused by the difference between theory and practice. So, it is very important to explorecertain characteristics of a group. After revising questionnaire and making data analysisagain and again, I ultimately get a satisfactory answer.Based on the theory of Vocational Values, and the theory that the influence ofVocational Values to Employment Behavior, and many theories in each period, I haveformed an unique understanding of the Vocational Values. In my view, it is wrong toconfine the division of Vocational Values in a rigid frame, which lead to a result that thesurvey data to prove the frame rigidly, but on the basis of previous theoretical research andrespect the objective facts strictly, in order that, I can get not only the first hand data butalso objective and reliable conclusions. After many experiences of failed investigation, Iultimately choose that To learn from the classic and go its own way".I learned from the version of Ning weiwei which based on the Work Values Inventory(WVI) of Super.After revising many times on this basis, it makes my final Inventory ofthis paper reliable and comprehensive in theory. During data analysis, instead of setting theversion of Ning weiwei which based on the Work Values Inventory(WVI) of Super aboveon the survey data rigidly, I reclassified Work Values Inventory (WVI)according to thechanges of data, and finally get9indicators: α1(Authority and challenge); α2(Novel);α3(Sense of freedom and human harmony);α4(Altruism and equality);α5(Remunerationand comfortable environment);α(6Security);α7(Efficiency and organizational capacity);α8(Reputation and achievements);α9(Phased recognition and self supportability). Thiswould ensure the data be described objectively so as to get a valid conclusions. The caseinterview added fresh elements to the design of this paper questionnaire, making the bluntexpression of questionnaire more in line with current college students thinking habits,and Employment Choices more targeted.This paper takes the college students to be object of study. The problem of college students employment has been widely concerned by state and society in recent years. Itis never an outdate topic that how to guide the college students to get a better job. I focuson the students whose major is economics or economic management, and this will not onlybenefit the deepening of study, but provide some practical conclusions which will guidethem to get a job.
