Study Of Employment Values In Agricultural College And Countermeasures

The world, being in the era of great reform and adjusting, presents characteristics of political multi-polarization, economic globalization, industry Intellectualization, and society informatization. With the development of reform in our country, great changes has taken place in the aspects of economic subject, development pattern, living manners, social position and employment, all of which would influence the ideology, thinking, job-hunting tendency and values. Under this circumstance, the values of today’s college students would sure be affected even unconsciously. The values directly determine their choices of occupation. At present, college students in China faces difficulties in finding a job, which resulted from many reasons. In addition to objective reasons like economic development, specialty design, employment system, the values and concepts of college students towards job-hunting itself are significant reasons contribute to the employment difficulty.Our country’s basic situation of first stage of socialism remains at present with agriculture as core part of national economy. However, agriculture is a fragile part with low income and backward development. All these mean that great difficulties lie in the solving of Issues of agriculture, farmer and rural area. In recent years, the Party and government pay great attention to this issue, releasing No.1document in7years, researching and mapping out agricultural production. In face of this situation, colleges of agriculture field also encounter new challenge and opportunities. How to serve agriculture industry, improve the quality of graduates are essential at present.Grasping the values of choosing career for students in agriculture colleges could shed light on the problems existing in current students’choices, which involve deep research into this aspect. This paper intends to deal with this issue. Based on previous methodology and achievement, it investigates the values of agricultural colleges, induces their character, analyzes the reasons and proposes measures to strengthen education of occupational choice. It will benefit colleges adopting economic market in socialist society; promote the reasonable employment and healthy development for the high education and agriculture, fanner and rural area. The paper is divided into4parts. Chapter one deals with main reasons that influence college students’values based on deep understanding of it. Chapter two discusses the values’ effects upon occupational choices through sample study of Anhui Agricultural University. Chapter three analyzes main reasons influencing college students’values and difficulties in working in root base. Chapter four, based on successful experience in foreign universities, studies effective measures in guiding students’values in agriculture colleges and proposes strategic suggestions.
