Trust and cooperation are complementary and have a cause-and-effectrelationship with each other, trust is a prerequisite for cooperation, and in turncooperation promotes trust. Home-school cooperation is related to home-schooltrust between the home and school. Home-school trust is not only thepolymerization of home-school exchanges, but also the lubricant of organization; it isboth the basis and the means of the home-school cooperation, which is the resultand purpose of home-school cooperation. In other words, the promotion anddevelopment of home-school cooperation largely depends on whether the two sidesexpand communication and interaction benign on the basis of mutual trust.In view of this, drawing on existing research results, this research investigatesthe degree of home-school cooperation, trust, and the internal relationship based ona study at Yuhong Vanke primary school, a school which actively practices thehome-school cooperation in Wu Xi. First, the author makes up the questionnairefrom the teachers’ and parents’ perspectives in order to learn the level ofhome-school trust and the cooperation. Secondly, on the basis of a small sampleforecast, a survey of660parents of Yuhong Vanke Primary School and50teacherswas conducted in order to know the status of home-school trust from the two sides,parents trust teachers and teachers trust parents; to investigate the status ofhome-school cooperation from six dimensions: the home-school communicationmechanism, enhance parenting education to improve the ability of parentalcounseling of children, parents’ participation in volunteer work in schools, parents’involvement in school policy-making and the school and community to assistance.The collected relevant and analyzed data concluded that: the level of parents’ trusttowards teachers is higher than that of teachers’ trust towards parents, the level ofhome-school trust exists at certain grade differences; the school home-schoolco-operation reaches a high level, especially in establishing a home-schoolcommunication mechanism. Finally, a correlation analysis was carried out on thehome-school trust and the home-school cooperation, which found that a significant correlation exists between the two sides; the trust between the two sides is mostlyrelated with home-school communication.At the same time, this study makes suggestions in order to improve the statutesreflected in the survey. Firstly, foster the concept of equality from home-school to laythe basis of trust of the home-school; secondly, smooth home-school communicationchannels to keep the home-school’s trust performance; thirdly, enhancehome-school cooperation capacity to deepen the relationship of trust. This paperintends to draw the attention of educators and researchers to the home-school trust,and promote the further development of the home-school cooperation andhome-school trust, and create good space for childrens healthy development fromestablishing home-school trust between the home-school to re-examine the effectivecooperation.
