The teenager because of its cognitive development, self consciousness gradually awakening, in pursuit of cognitive problems of independent judgment, but mass communication media is step by step manufacturing only collective action ability of the masses, so that students can study in aesthetic caused their own individual to the ontology knowledge’s independency, the activity,the integration, the development of innovative character is particularly critical. This research through the teacher limited teaching experiment, in the hope that art appreciation learning students acquisition meta-cognitive ability to improve the scientific method as well as to their meta-cognitive system awakening, and further make students form the consciousness of self control and management, we hope to enhance the students’self and external world aesthetic cognition, and create thinking.This paper, from theory to practice is divided into four chapters to this:the first chaper. mainly discusses the meta-cognitive theory, from the meta-cognitive theory research and meta-cognitive ability and intelligence structure, related psychological foundation ability, independent learning ability, thinking about the relationship between the ability of discussed. The second chaper:based on high school art appreciation course meta-cognition ability questionnaire sampling survey, as well as the present situation of the class meta-cognitive level to explore thinking about meta-cognitive and art appreciation teaching relationship. The third chaper:mainly discusses the art appreciation in practice in the process of teaching to cultivate students’ meta-cognitive ability of the basic principles and teaching practice way. The fourth chaper:this paper discusses the theoretical research on the basis of teaching Practice to explore, through teacher’s class reflection demonstrates the meta-cognitive ability improve the appreciation of the effectiveness of the implementation.
