Our scientific research institutions have developed rapidly and continuously since the Reform and Opening-up with the crash of research, there are problems such as lack of innovation and substance breakthrough during scientific process, which is closed to acts of academic researchers. In our country, most researchers have a good style of study who have selfless and maintain the academic reputation, however, the academia isn’t in vacuum, academic misconduct behaviors such as copy and plagiarism, forgery and tampering, multiple contributions still exist, especially in the postgraduate students group. Academic misconduct hindered the pace of innovative research seriously, which will cause great harm to development of scientific research and society. Recently, the education department issued a document "Preach about strengthening science ethics and tradition"; most of universities have launched various types of preaching and education activities, suggesting that the state, society and academia recognize that strengthening research ethics education has become a necessity for academic misconduct.From postgraduate academic misconduct phenomenon, this paper introduces the concept of graduate academic misconduct, the nature of the manifestations, analysis of status, harms, and reasons, poor awareness and fuzzy code of research ethics, which are linked with postgraduate research ethics education intrinsically. The graduate academic misconduct reflects some problems of research ethics education, inadequate or absence. In order to solve this problem, the paper first elaborated the concept and characteristics of research ethics education, recognizing that research ethics education is a educational behavior based on research ethics cognitive, principles, including emotion, action, and other educational content. The paper reveals situation, reasons of research ethics education in the postgraduate field, recognizing it is necessary to strengthen postgraduate research ethics education by analyzing limitations, rigid forms, poor environment of education, which is an inherent requirement to enhance postgraduate qualities, necessary means of training research ethics, important measures of controlling academic misconduct. Finally, the paper puts forward proposals to strengthen postgraduate research ethics education, we should create professional courses of research ethics education, should make full use of practicing for teaching to practice research ethics and complete feedback supervision of research ethics education to prevent postgraduate academic misconduct.Research ethics education is a necessary process that heritage tradition of our noble moral and develop advanced socialist culture, it may improve postgraduates’ideological and moral qualities, scientific and cultural qualities, thus support for country prosperity and national rejuvenation on spirit and intellectual. Research ethics education is an indispensable part of postgraduate education, an important content of construction for socialist spiritual civilization. It is an urgent task to strengthen postgraduate research ethics education, prevent and threat of academic misconduct, maintain a good scientific order, which is a systems engineering, demanding university, social, tutor and postgraduate working together and managing comprehensive. |
