School’s sport is an important part of school’s education and the basis of the national sport’s development. It has the strategic significance to strengthen the national physical quality and to improve the competitive standard. And this is also the basis of promoting the quality education. But now there are lots of problems in physical education. Wuhai, a city which locates in the Western of Inner Mongolia, is an industrial city with500,000population. There are three full-time high schools. By researching these three schools’ physical education, it exists a phenomenon that they take no count of physical education and teaching content is not in accordance with the syllabus but on random. The decrease of students’physical standard is especially apparent to see in tests of physical training.This thesis mainly adopts the methods of literature and research. By using the method of literature, I collect the problems that exist in the physical classes and the documents of the development in high schools’ physical education. I want to make a contribution to change the features in Wuhai’s high schools physical education and to improve the students’ physical quality.There are some elements that influence the physical education development in Wuhai’s high schools. First of all, the leaders make little of the physical education. Second one is the teachers who can’t realize the meaning and the essence of physical courses. Lastly, schools pay much attention to the majors and put them on the top of everything. It makes the physical education more difficult that the teacher and the concept of education fall behind; the less opportunities to go out to learn the new concept of teaching; the equipment and the fee is not supported very well and so on.There are some approaches to solve the former problems:Strengthen the teachers to train and learn new knowledge; Let the leaders to understand the importance and necessity; Cultivate the consciousness and habit of exercising; Change the teaching mode and to mobilize the interest of learning; Insist the guiding ideology of health is No.1; Strengthen the teaching staffs; Add more sport equipments; Publicize the important effect and meaning, in order to change the students’; mind and let them to take part in the exercising actively...
