The career maturity of college students is the level of preparedness for the nextstages of career choice through the determination of career goals, the collection of careerinformation, the building of career self-confidence, the acceptation of career compromise,the selection of the career reference and the choice of career values, during college time(adjustment stage of career development to try period late and the transition period18-24years old, under the background of Chinese culture). In this study, literature analysis, in-depth interviews, open-ended survey and pilot study were used, and on this basis thecareer maturity questionnaire of graduates was designed. Furthermore, the researchconstruct a six-factor career maturity model by the exploratory factor analysis andconfirmatory factor analysis through first-hand data obtained in the pre and postinvestigation, including career goals, career self-confidence, career compromise, careerreference, career values and career information. Finally we compared the similarities anddifferences of the research with previous study and point out the application value of it.On the basis of a formal questionnaire data, use variance analysis to observe thecharacteristics of the career maturity of college students and to compare the results withexisting research. Done the intervention research, and resulted in practical vocationalmaturity of college student’s career guidance measures.
