Analyse Rural Endowment Patterns

With the fast development of the process of urbanization in China andthe fast development of the ageing in population, a large rural populationmove to the urban areas, the proportion of rural ageing population rises andthe number of family members declines, population liquidity increases, thetraditional values have been changed in people’s minds and so on all thesefactors make the traditional family pension mode continuously decreased itseffects. Our country is such a large agricultural nation, the proportion of therural population is relatively high, but in the rural areas, the pension systems,regulations, norms is not perfect, so it is necessary to discuss the ruralendowment modes. Are the old people willing to home endowment or stillchoose a nursing home? Will the society or their children take theresponsibilities of supporting the old people? These are the problems that wehave to solve now.This paper takes the rural areas of Qiqihar in Heilongjiang Province asan example, investigates and researches the current rural endowment patterns,analyzes the advantages, disadvantages and influencing factors of the currentendowment patterns, puts forward the necessity and concrete strategy socialworkers’ work in rural endowment.
