A Study About The Relationship Between Stroke Feelings And Learning Chinese Of Thai Middle School Students With No Basis

Teaching Chinese characters is an important part in Chinese language teaching, and also is adifficult part for Thai students who are learning Chinese. According to the response from theThai students,“Chinese character stroke order is difficult” is one important reason to learnChinese characters.So how to teach Chinese characters and how to explain the stroke order isthe problem that worth thinking for us. So that we can make the students learn easily and theteachers to teach easily.The purpose of this paper is to learn about the trouble of the Thai high school students inwriting Chinese characters stroke. And know about the feelings of the students when they are inlearning Chinese stroke and Chinese characters. So that we can study the correlation among thefeelings in learning Chinese stroke and the scores in learning Chinese stroke and Chinesecharacters.I take the opportunity when I teach in Thailand to hand out questionnaires to the studentsto know about the feelings of the students in learning Chinese stroke and Chinese character. Wetest the students in order to know about the situation of learning Chinese character stroke and bymeans of SPSS18.0software to analyze the correlations between the scores and the feelings.Through the research, we found that:1. There is a significant correlation between the score of Chinese stroke and the score ofChinese characters and Chinese language.2. There is a significant correlation between the feelings of learning Chinese stroke and thescore of learning Chinese stroke and learning Chinese characters and learning Chinese language.4. There is a significant difference between the feelings of the students who get a high scorein learning Chinese or not.we hope that through this study we can provide some meaningful reference to the teachingof Thailand’s stroke order.
