Research On Disaster Social Work Practices Of Society-based Philanthropy

Three basic functions of social work are as follows:restoration, prevention and development. However, under the new public service model in which public welfare undertakings are being socialized and normalized, it means that there are no universally accepted standards of social work butthe culture-specific one. Using three case studies on earthquake reconstructions, this paper explores the ideas and perspectives under the influence of society-based philanthropy are applied in actual practices, as well as the role of social work in these practices.In the post-disaster recovery and reconstruction process, Perspective problems and the role of social workers involved in the study have important practical and theoretical significance, it can enrich research Chinese disaster social work. From a practical point of view, it can intervene in the face of disaster recovery and many other social benefits such as low reconstruction after the intervention encountered in practice, social workers involved in specific geographical and cultural issues such as providing useful experience summary.Employing the perspective of cultural construction, this research aims to bring about new inspirations for social work practices by integrating, strength perspective and capacity building concepts, and examining the experiences of society-based philanthropy and disaster social work. The main contribution of this study is to answer three specific questions, first, social welfare is how after the earthquake disaster in social work practice perspective on cultural construction and capacity building perspective began to practice? Second, why the perspective of culture construction is important? Third, the role of social workers in post-earthquake capacity building perspective and the perspective of the advantages?Analysis of this research work is mainly based on practical cases of domestic problems encountered in the typical social disaster and leads to the concept of intervention perspective, the conclusions of this study may be purely theoretical limitations on inference, but because we see the perspective of the problems led to the emergence of hope from the experience summed up the theory and practice of social work to give hope to sum up the experience to bring new inspiration.
