Nanjing Tourism Public Service System And Policy Support Research

The degree of perfection of tourism public service system is an important measure of the level of tourism development. Among influential factors, due to reasons of institutional mechanisms etc, research of the relevant supporting policies of tourism public services is often ignored. The development level of regional tourism public service depends on whether we can establish superior and beneficial policies. The nature of the tourism public service is non-profit, non-exclusive and bears obvious characteristics of public service. At present, it is an urgent need to exert the theoretical support of systematic, high-efficient and clearly-aimed policies on perfecting tourism public service system.The main contents of this paper include three aspects:the first aspect is the theoretical research aiming to solve the question of what is tourism public service system from the theoretical level and to establish the theoretical foundation of the research. By combing the travel public service theory, making sure the basic characteristics of the tourism public services, and together with studying the characteristics of tourism industry. The second aspect is the study of tourism public service system policy, aiming to solve the problems of how to establish relevant policies and what is the basic framework of the tourism public service system from the macro perspective. The third and last aspect is taking Nanjing city as an example of studying the policy-support on tourism public service system, aiming to put forward constructive suggestions and to provide a practical sample for the development of the tourism public service system country.This paper is based on studying the newly-updated development of the theory of tourism public service from different points of view to further explore the tourism public service system and policy support system. With the foundation of present achievements of all-element studying by domestic and foreign experts, and with combination of the actual development of tourism in Nanjing, the paper tries to analyze the current situation and problems of tourism public service system, which can reflect the common and typical problems of the construction of China’s tourism public service system, so as to make clear what measures should be taken on the side of our Government to give more powerful policy-support on the construction of tourism public service system.
