Study On The Credibility Of China’s NPO

China’s reform and opening up brings relaxed social environment so that social structure has also undergone significant changes, and our Non-Profit Organizations have been the high-speed rise and development as an independent institution. The Non-Profit Organization plays a part of the increasing important functions in our today’s lives. However, at the same time, we also see that there are many defective places in the development. In the meantime, more and more troubles are exposed and caused. For instance, lack of credibility and perfected systems, internal governance management of the agency is poor, and low efficiency in the sports event operations. At the same time, the external conditions are not perfect, for example, the necessary self-regulatory mechanism, external oversight and the audit are also very poor. Thus, the general public finds that the Non-Profit Organizations are not the perfect virtue. At the present stage, the Chinese Non-Profit Organizations’credibility is not high enough, the shortage of credibility has become the focus question of the society. Therefore, through the introduction of foreign Non-Profit Organizations’development, to investigate the lack of credibility of the status of Non-Profit Organizations and to draw some inspiration, to propose effective and targeted institutional solutions, thus, to further enhance our Non-Profit Organizations’credibility. It is also an important issue in our environment.Firstly, this article puts forward the researched background, the meaning of credibility, the article research ideas, the research methods, and detailed summary of the research status. Secondly, elaborates the theoretical concept of the Non-Profit Organization and the credibility, analyses and summary highlights the important role of non-profit organizations’credibility, and lead into three kinds of theory as the theoretical basis of the credibility of research. Thirdly, With "Mei-US events" as an example, detailing overview of the current lack of credibility of the status of Non-Profit Organizations, to explore the phenomenon of lack of credibility of Non-Profit Organizations in-depth nature. All kinds of deep-seated reasons lead to the lack of credibility. The official China duality, inadequate laws and regulations, administrative strong color, environmental constraints of traditional society and large dependence on government are the key factors. Along with the lack of self-regulatory of Non-Profit Organizations, and the external oversight mechanism is also not perfect, all these factors led to the lack of credibility of Non-Profit Organizations. Next, through leaning the advanced experience of other countries’ Non-Profit Organizations, draw some credibility for the construction of Non-Profit Organizations. Finally, along with the lack of credibility of the reasons for Non-Profit Organizations, learn advanced experience from other countries, proposed special conditions of credibility measures improved in line with our Non-Profit Organization.In the article, the instrument involves literature analysis, comparative analysis and case analysis.The presentation of principal-agent theory, market and government failure theory, and the stakeholder theory. The theory will deeply enhance the convincing theory in this paper. On the basis of related theory of the Non-Profit Organizations, analyzing the Non-Profit Organizations’shortage mainly performance, for example, contrary to the purpose for public service organizations, managers’corruption, inefficient operation of the project organization and so on. All the phenomenon is contrary to public welfare organizations. In the end, the paper depth analysis the adverse conditions, and proposes special conditions of credibility measures to improve in line with our Non-Profit Organization.For the above analysis, according to China’s Non-Profit Organization credibility constraints and the current lack of credibility problems, it is needed to research project and to put forward the measures to enhance the credibility of the Chinese Non-Profit Organizations. We should establish non-profit management laws and regulations, to build non-profit credit mechanism, straighten out the relationship between Non-Profit Organizations and government, improve non-profit’s self-discipline mechanism and construction the external oversight system, to form a complete system of governance for Non-Profit Organizations.In this paper, the main purpose is to find effective ways and measures according to China’s own specifics, to improve the Chinese Non-Profit Organizations’social credibility. Furthermore, high credibility of nonprofit organizations will promote healthy growth and healthy development, improve the social status of Non-Profit Organizations and deeply promote the social harmony.
