In China,with the deepening reform of socialist economic system, theoptimize and reform of government institutions is steadily push forward,therelationship between the government and the market,also the government and societyis improving day by day, non-profit organization has been a good development invarious fields, and has played a irreplaceable role. However, with the emergence ofthe negative news of the non-profit organizations, the issue of credibility has becomea bottleneck restricting the healthy development of China’s non-profit organization.Therefore, concerned about the credibility of the non-profit organization, has greatpractical significance for accelerate the building of the non-profit organizations’integrity and the building of the harmonious society.This article uses many research methods, such as literature analysis, comparativestudy and summary to research the credibility of non-profit organizations in China,trying to make recommendations for the building of non-profit organizations’integrity.In the beginning of this paper, the author described the theory of non-profitorganizations, and utilize the social capital" and "economic man" hypothesis toanalysis the non-profit organizations’integrity,in order to provide a more solidtheoretical foundation for this paper.Furthermore,combined with real-lifeexamples,this paper summed up China’s non-profit organization’s credibility problems.Firstly,Some members of the non-profit organization contraried to the basic purpose,vigorously pursued private interests; Secondly, internal management of non-profitorganizations unscientific and some managers malfeasance corruption; Thirdly,thelevel of public services is difficult to achieve the expectations, the performance of theorganization did not meet the required standards.On this basis,this paper explores thereasons for the lack of credibility of the non-profit organization from the non-profitorganization’s survival and development environment, external oversight mechanismsand internal governance structure.Firstly, the growth of the non-profit organizationand development environment is not conducive to the organization of the integrity ofthe building,in China,the legal and regulatory system is not perfect, it is difficult toprovide protection for the survival and development of the non-profit organization,additionally,"ethical standard" restricted the credibility of the non-profit organizationcapital construction as well as the mechanism of competition is the lack of integrity ofthe building is not conducive to non-profit organizations;Secondly, the imperfectionsof the external oversight mechanisms also restricts the improvement of the integrity of the non-profit organization,mainly in the aspects of government and society oversightand accountability and external evaluation system is imperfect;Finally,in China,thenon-profit organization’s internal governance is imperfect, mainly members of thepublic service mission, the organization’s decision-making system is imperfect,chaotic financial management and human resource management unreasonable fouraspects.Subsequently, the paper analyzed the United States’, Britain’s and Japan’snon-profit organization, and summed up the advanced experience of the integrity ofthe building in the non-profit organization, trying to explore on this basis valid path tostrengthen the credibility of the building of China’s non-profit organization.
