The Duty And The Way To Build Decent Work Environment Of Our Government

In1999, International Labor Organization proposed the notion of decent work in order to cope with the challenge of economy globalization, eliminate its negative influence as well as promote social fairness and equality. The purpose of decent work is to safeguard the legal right and human dignity of the labors.Decent work reflects the countries and the international community focus some of the work in the society, economic and political agenda, including the fairness of globalization, reducing poverty, social security, social integration, dignity and diversity etc. It provides us a comprehensive analysis of the development of the social target and economic target framework, making the international labor organization goals further embodiment.After this proposition, decent work has been the focus of the international society. Meanwhile, as one of the strategic plans, decent work has been brought into the national development programs by countries all over the world. As one of the member countries of International Labor Organization, decent work has also been the important subject of Chinese social concern. It has been the unshirkable duty of China to promote to achieve the decent work and build decent work environment.Aiming at the decent work problems in politics, employment, social products distribution, social guarantee and the development of human resources, Chinese government has initiatively taken related measures and has gained great achievements. However, there are still lots of questions in the building of decent work environment because of the deficiency of government’s duties and the obstacles of the process of fulfilling. To realize decent work, Chinese government needs to further intensify its duty of building decent work environment, perfects relevant laws and social security, strengthens its force of enforcement and the development and training.
