With the fast developments of economy globalization, the InternationalLabor Organization (ILO) put forward the conception of decent work have beenaccepted and recognized by more and more countries. At the same time, In theprocess of China’s urbanization process is accelerating and in this context ofbuilding a harmonious society in china, decent work combines manycharacteristics of a socialist harmonious society, with his unique content; he is anew concept of labor in line with our country national conditions.The generation of migrant workers as the special groups for a socialtransformation period in China, as a social construction has made outstandingcontributions, but at the bottom of society, are subject to a variety ofdiscrimination, suffered unfair treatment, their rights to be not effectivelyprotected, decent work is non-existent. Harmonious society as the main theme ofChina’s modernization drive, decent work as the main tone of a harmonioussociety, to achieve decent work for the generation of migrant workers, ispeople-oriented, the protection of human rights values embody, is important tohighlight the socialist fairness and justice.This article from the perspective of Marx’s work ethic thinking tounderstand the meaning and significance of decent work, and on the status of thenew generation of migrant workers labor analysis, the factors that impede therealization of decent work disorder, once again the reasons for these barrierswere factors analysis concludes with recommendations and strategies from thecommunity, government, business, trade unions and workers themselvesmultiple angles, the ultimate realization of China’s new generation of migrantworkers decent work.
