National defense students are reserved officers. They are trained in local universities andsubmitted to the need of army building. The thesis regards the national defense students in Auniversity as the object of research, and divides their educational practice into two aspects.One is the process of professional knowledge learning and the other is the process of militaryknowledge learning and military. National defense students are high calipers who are trainedin local institutions of higher education which signed oriented training agreement with thearmy in the interest of army building and further development. The feature of national defensestudents defines their management modes and systems. In this connection, the managementmodes and system are introduced in the educational practice of national defense studentincludes in this article.How to assess the quality of student-cultivation of a university? The most effective wayis to exam the employment rate of the graduate and the feedbacks from employers. However,the procedure of selection, training, assessment and elimination of national defense students isdesigned by the government. It is so difficult to assess the quality of students from the pointview of employment rate. Based on these considerations above, the real changes of graduatenational defense students embody the quality of A universities’ national defense students inthis article. This is due to the reason that graduate national defense students have experienceboth in the university and in the army. Considering the quality assessed from the perspectivegraduate students can reflect advantages and disadvantages of A universities’ national defensestudents effectively, reinforcing or correcting some process of educational practice canimprove the quality of A universities’ national defense students finally.The methods of questionnaire and intensive interview are selected as the survey method.“A universities’ national defense students training process satisfaction questionnaire” and “Auniversities’ graduate national defense students’ quality questionnaire” are adopted as themethods of questionnaire. Individual and group interviews of national defense students are conducted. All these methods are conducted to reflect the educational practice of A universitycomprehensively and objectively. The conclusions are as the followings:1. A yearning for the career of soldiers is the main reason for students choose to benational defense students, and25%of A universities’ national defense students share thisview.2. A universities’ national defense students are satisfied with the educational practice ofA university, and the educational practice includes professional learning and militaryknowledge learning and military training.3. A universities’ national defense students are not satisfied with their learning state.25%of A universities’ national defense students share this view.4. Management mode of simulate company is a feature and a advantage of A universities’national defense students training.5. Management system of choosing some national defense students as backbonesfacilitates to improve the comprehensive quality and to enhance the competitive edge ofemployment.
