Research On Improving The Training Quality Of PLA Air Force National Defense Students

Since 1999, PLA Air Force has selected 18 local colleges and universities such as Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Xi’an University of Electronic Science and Technology and Lanzhou University and so on to cultivate high quality military talents. In the past dozen years, both PLA Air Force and local colleges and universities have been making a profound understanding of the significance of the national defense students education work from a strategic perspective of rejuvenating the country through science and education and building a strong army through science and technology, done a lot of effective work to form a "selection, education, training, management, employment "interrelated training system and successfully found a new way of civil-military inosculation to train talents.However, as the scheme of the PLA Air Force defense students training is newly carried out, there are many imperfections:the political responsibility hasn’t been fully fulfilled with the work intensity; the urgent needs of PLA Air Force transformation and construction haven’t been meted with the training quality and so on. As a result, personnel trained by the current system can’t meet the real needs of the Air Force.Therefore, it has become very urgent and necessary to strengthen the research on the Air Force national defense students training system and further improve the quality of them. Moreover, the research has become an urgent task which is related to the long-term development of PLA Air Force personnel training and its’transformation and construction. Combining with the research on the current training situation and the training practice, this paper proposes measures such as setting up new concept of training the Air Force defense student, making efforts to improve their comprehensive quality and improving the security system of the training work to improve the trained personnel quality.
