By analyzing a great amount of first hand data, the author makes a comparativestudy on sophistry in ancient Greece and that in the pre-Qin days in China from theangle of modern logic,and concludes that sophistry in these two nations shows notonly the similarity of human thinking but also differences in notion, dialectic,historical destiny, and so forth, because of different cultural background..This paper will be divided into the following several parts to discuss.Chapter One: Mainly discusses the thought of the pre-qin and the main ideas of theancient Greece sophistry, The pre-qin mainly includes Deng Xi” The ambiguous said”,Hui Shi’s “calendar thing ten things”, Gongsun Long’s”White Horse isn’t Horse”andDebate regarding those twenty.Chapter Two: Mainly to the pre-qin thought and general analysis of ancient Greeksophistry thought. Mainly from relativism color the application of simple dialectics andcontained both sides for the interpretation of the concept and the scientific thought.Chapter Three: Mainly discussed about the rise of legal logic in China and the west,thoughts of the pre-Qinmasters, legal thoughts and content overviews in ancient Greek,as well as the impact of Chinese and western thoughts on the logic of law. From thepoint of view of the second chapter, the choice of law are both important for westerndevelopment, discuss the different between China and western countries, for the fourthchapter.
