The key of visual communication is to realize information transmission andgenerate value through creative and visual presentation of information. If visualcommunication is deemed as a unit, then each step of the process of creating anddesigning information is a link of this unit. It is the operation and interaction of theselinks that have facilitated the proceeding of visual communication design.Since the beginning of the21st century, with the continuous development of thecommercial society, visual communication design has been gradually evolving as aconstituent part of commercial society. Along with the voice that “the era of bigdata is coming”, the era of internet that used to influence every aspect of our lives isquickly becoming obsolete.“The era of big data” is acting as the subverter in manyfields, though the process of which is tough and long. Visual communication at thistime should concentrate more than ever before on how to meet the commercialdemands and social demands under the new situation by analyzing, establishing andadjusting the operating processes and creative logic.Based on three years’ practical experience in this industry as well as theresearch experience on campus, the author tries to study the operating process andinteractive logic of every links in the process of visual communication by combiningthe research methods of multiple fields including Internet, big data, designmanagement, creative studies and marketing economics, etc., and finally formtheoretically based visual chart to make the research more significant for practicalguidance in addition to its theoretical value. In light of the modern and opencommercial society, the paper has also proposed countermeasures and thoughts forthe establishment and perfection of the logic system in visual communication ofgraphic design industry. Meanwhile, from the perspective of internet big data, theauthor has discussed on how visual communication can be of more significance inthe context of new and subversive social development by bringing in new ideas ofbig data on the basis of the existing operational logic.
