Beidelihe Smetana is famous nineteenth-century Czech composer, he was laterrevered as the "father of the new Czech music." As a pioneer of Czech folk music, hemix musical elements with ethnic feature into the works, making creative works fullof rich Czech national style and flavor. His first concert Etude in C major whichcombine harmonies sound and undulating melody depicts an fresh and vivid scene forpeople. This paper aim to analyze and research the works of interpreting musicvocabulary and writing style characteristics, for revealing the content and artisticvalue of the work implies, and deep understanding Smetana piano works, especiallyfirst piano concert etude.This article includes introduction, body and conclusion.Introduction describesthe reason for choicing this topic, related research at home and abroad, researchmethods and approaches, significance and innovation.Body is divided into threechapters, the first chapter brief composer ’s life and his works;The second chapterstart with the background of creating Smetana Concert Etude in C major, and furtheranalyze the works of the creative material, musical forms, musical structure, tonality,melody and harmony and other musical texture techniques. The third chapter contactour own reality, analyzing the piano playing and teaching methods, exploringSmetana musical styles, and researching the problems which encountered in theperformance as well as solutions to the problem.Finally, I hope to provide somereference for colleagues who play and research this works.
