Contemporary Fiber Art Design Language Study

The design language of contemporary fiber art covers material, technology, texture, color, pattern and other factors of fiber art, which can realize fiber application. With continuous improvement of science and technology as well as enhancement of people’s aesthetic judgment, the design language of fiber art is also changing. By setting design language as research content, the importance of fiber art language is discussed in this paper. As an independent artisticform, fiber art should be innovated ceaselessly. Only in this way, can it meet the requirementsof social development. Innovation of ideology, organizational form, new materials and newtechnology is affecting rapid development of fiber art.In short, with development and change of the times and social system, various kinds ofarts are exchanging and colliding with each other. They are also influencing people’saesthetic idea. As the modern art of individual creativity, fiber art will also serve the masses.Fiber art at each stage is endowed with bran-new time spirit. Therefore, currentcharacteristics of the times should be grasped in innovation for language form of fiber art.
