Application Of Modern Chinese Prints Elements Illustration Creation

In the field of the modern design, the art of illustration is very contagious. To become what it is today, illustrations have made considerable progress in styl e, subject, content, etc, showing the unique artistic charm. The arrival of the dig ital age makes illustration art have a qualitative leap. But generally speaking, co ntemporary illustration industry is monopolized by Europe and the styles of Unit ed States, Japan and South Korea. At the present stage domestic illustration indu stry is generally copied abroad in creation style, don’t have their own characterist ics. Continuation of traditional culture and art is a respect for tradition, is an im portant direction of the development of the modern art design, which is particula rly important in the society of modern design.Figured silk fabric is a kind of folk art crafts in our country, it contains de sign elements of the heavy traditional culture, embodies the thick accumulation o f culture and art, worthy of our inheritance and reference."Foreign stones may s erve to polish domestic jade", this paper tries to apply elements of Chinese folk prints to illustration creation, to explore a new illustration style, and strive to make this kind of illustrations have the effect of carrier on the revitalization of t he national culture, inherit and develop the national culture of China.Firstly, this article introduces the topic of research background, purpose and research significance, elaborated the colors, styles and characteristics of Chinese f olk prints graphics form. Then starting from the creative process of the illustratio n creation, we analyze what the requirements and methods we should follow to apply the folk prints element in the artwork. This paper also analyzes the techni cal background and the problems of illustration inland and expounds the significa nce of applying the printed cloth pattern to the illustration in detail. To explore how the national characteristics and modern illustration art can be combined, we create a set of works with the elements of animal patterns and folk allover art, make its new era characteristics illustration works, so as to explore a new illust ration style, consequently enrich the connotation of domestic illustration art.
