To explore the aesthetic principles is all design disciplines common topic. Logo design is no exception. In a variety of forms, there are the basic aesthetic principles, and closely related to human life and technology. Logo design is more directly involved in human social activities. Therefore, how to fuse the aesthetic principles and logo design perfectly, perform its functions and aesthetics has become one of the goals of the logo design pursuit.Based on this, this thesis studied the feature recognition and the formal beauty of logo design. First of all, from the human perceptual characteristics, expounds the characteristics of human feeling, sensation and perception, based on the relationship between cognitive psychology perception research, which combines the related content of gestalt psychology. The vision as a study object, and the visual into form vision, color vision, brightness vision and visual illusion in four parts. Each part respectively expatiate the characteristics. Finally, combining with the visual perception of relevant theories expatiate the cognitive processes and characteristics of the visual system. Four aspects to research the problem of logo design from the graphics, color, font and combinations, which are integrated into the graphical semantics, color psychology, and sorting out some design ideas of existing.On this basis, the aesthetic principles of applied research in logo design is divided into the following two parts of work:1) the theory study:learn the relevant knowledge from the plane constitution and painting art. Association of formal beauty and emotional vocabulary is discussed;2) the use of case analysis:based on the analysis of the classic logo design, analysis Relevance application of design theme and the aesthetic principles. In order to clear the importance of form beauty in logo design.In this research, we explore and practice the use of experimental method of eye tracking system. From the perspective of eye movement regularity of different aesthetic principles in the process of evaluation marks by quantitative and qualitative analysis of the results of the final summed up the characteristics of each rule. Based on the evaluation and identification of two experimental results, so as to achieve the purpose of feature recognition. It is also recognition of the law of the evaluation process are summarized form eye movement rule of the evaluation process of recognition. In order to complete the experimental methods to study the logo design on the beauty of form and feature recognition with eye tracker. To obtain a series of logo design method through the study of this topic, and this method as a guide for logo design practice. Finally, author has also carried on the ductility of the thesis.
