"Immortals" Dream Female Subject Research

"SouShenJi" is the best ghost story of the Period of Wei and Jin Dynasty, which not only lies in being comprehensive in its content but also possesses its unique position, role and influence in the history of Chinese novels. It contains many motif, such as loving to do philanthropic work, marriage with the link of love between men and women, etc,so this article selects the dream story of reflecting the dream motif as the research object.According to statistics, its dream story has43articles in total,which occupy one-tenth contents throughout the book but which play a great role in the history of literature so that it can not be ignored. This thesis by analyzing the story text probes into the narrative art of the dream from the perspective of narratology and exerts a profound influence on later literature such as Tang Legendary novels,Tang poetry, Song poetry,Yuan verse and Zhang hui novels and so on.This thesis consists of introduction,the main body of the paper text,other discussion and conclusion. The introduction mainly introduces the book case of "SouShenji"and its spreading condition, the people’s attitude toward the change of the novel in history of literature as well as the current research situation of the academic circles about the dream motif. The main body of the paper is divided into four parts: The first chapter mainly explores the cause of dreams from the person’s physiology and psychology and in cultural dimensions;analyses dreams,dream like attributes and the effect of nattating story in dream story of "soushenji"and briefly divides into oneiromancy,marriage with the link of love between men and women,retributive justice and ghost of four types.The second chapter chiefly elaborates relations between dream and Chinese traditional culture from three aspects of politics, marriage and death by analysing the dream of the story text. Dream and politics:the politicians often regard the dream as a means of achieving the political ambition and recruiting talents;Dream and marriage:the common people give vent to dissatisfaction with at marriage through the dream, and the dead also connect the dream with ghost weddings or Yin marriage,both of whom express their desire for happy marriage;Dream and death:the dream can predict a person’s death, and the ancient also often attribute some unexplained death reasons to ghosts and gods,which reflect the ancient’s strong supernatural concepts.The third chapter majorly uses the narratology relevance theory to observe the role of the dream story from three aspects of the narration, structure and narrative perspective. In terms of narrative, the dream mainly played a part in predicting the future and communicating, and by means of the signal function of dreams complete prolepsis;In terms of structure, the dream in the framework structure and untied the structure plays an essential role in a connecting link between the preceding and the following and promoting the development of the plot; In terms of narrative perspective,the integrated use of the third person omniscient and limited angle of view not only embodies the unique historical characteristics in the initial period of development of mystery novels, also stimulates the reader’s reading interest and enhances the readability of the story.The fourth chapter from the material, length, language, content, structure, narrative perspective, narrative time, narrative mode, etc.chiefly by contrast talks about the influence of dream stories in "SouShenJi" on later novels, especially Short Stories of Tang Legendary novels. Conclusion briefly combed the dream literature in ancient Chinese history of literature of rheological process before song dynasty, in order to grasp the evolution of the dream literature as a macro.
