In this paper, the " four greatest painer of Yuan dynasty " appellation named Ni Zan,Huang Gong-wang, Wu Zhen, Wang Meng four painters were studied. First by yuan Mingthree generations of theories of art classification comb in the yuan dynasty painter paintingappellation, analysis social impact as an artist, then analysis with Gao Ke-gong ZhaoMeng-futwo prominent artists and Ni Zan, Huang Gong-wang, Wu Zhen, Wang Meng ’s painting styleand the inheritance between Ming and Qing dynasties painting style, through the six yuandynasty painters in the Ming dynasty middle-late form their social influence and historicalposition, and then analyze the Ming and Qing dynasties society transformation of art conceptand evaluation method. Dong Qi-chang’s theory of art lead to the influence of formationbetween Ming dynasty and early Qing " four greatest painer of Yuan dynasty " appellation isfixed, through six painter in the Ming and qing dynasties to the yuan dynasty painter’s arttheory, ink composition, make evaluation, and the influence of "theory of the civil cases,analyse the Ni Zan, Huang Gong-wang, Wu Zhen, Wang Meng and how entitled" fourgreatest painer of Yuan dynasty ".
