Family Ethics Drama View Of Marriage Has Changed Since 1990

The family ethics TV series is one of the major types of TV series in China, its narrative content is inseparable from family marriage life. In these years, the issue of marriage in family ethics TV series has become more concentrated. This type of TV series reveals some view of marriage through the behavior or attitude of the major characters. This paper begins from the changing phenomenon of the view of marriage in family ethics TV series and ends with the analysis of the causes and effects of the changes.This paper uses qualitative research to demonstrate the development process of the view of marriage changes in some related family ethics TV series. By combining the theories of TV Arts, marriage sociology and ethics theory, this paper analyzed the reason why the view of marriage changed in the macro and micro perspectives. After that, we examined the impact of the view of marriage change on the basis of the analysis of drama texts, that is, the pros and cons of value-oriented views of marriage.Through the analysis of the view of marriage in the Golden Eagle Award winning entries, we find that there are five aspects of change in the view of marriage of family ethics TV series. These changes are mainly as following:the independent of the concept of spouse, repeated sexual idea,the emotional fertility values, the equality of the relationship between husband and wife as well as the concept of rational divorce. These changes are not only influenced by the social development, but also required by the development of the family ethics TV series itself. This paper argues that the family ethics TV series provides a focus and perspective of marriage view for the audience and the reflect of the values will have a certain function of demonstration and guidance to the audience. On one hand, the view of marriage in the TV series criticized the feudal marriage and advocated "truth standard" mate concept and "moderate open" to the idea of sex and equal cautious of divorce concept, on the other hand, the marriage guidance exists in modern fertility values of deletion, harmonious relationship between husband and wife and a partial dislocation of the divorce value, therefore, the creators should adjust the orientation and build some reasonable view of marriage.
