Phonetics is the study of human voices disciplines. Voice is the material shell of language with physical, physiological and social properties. Particular form of voice express specific meaning,which is conventionalized by all the members of a language society. Such social property determines the distinct difference among languages. Chinese language, as one of the languages with long history and high level of development in the world, enjoys a significant influence in international language environment. Different from the Indo-European languages, modern Chinese have a lot of phonetic features: syllable distinction is obvious with more tones, besides the change and cadence of tones, hence it has the feature of strong music style with no complex consonants, vowels dominant with tones.Kazakh, a Turkic Altaic language, is the official language of Kazakhstan and the language used by global Kazakh people. In the course of daily life and learning, for those who take Chinese as a second language to study with Kazakh as their native language, it is of special importance to distinguish the difference between Chinese and Kazakh voice, to identify the same or different points in the process of using and learning Chinese language, to grasp a correct and clear pronunciation hence to take a flurnt communication. While Kazakh students made lots of mistakes and have many obstacles in pronunciation. Therefore, this article, combining theories and practice, analyzes the similarities and differences between Chinese and Kazakh voices, probing into the difficulties for Kazak students in the process of learning Chinese voice and puts forward some suggestions of solutions.
