Dangshan County, Then Voice Study

Dangshan is located in the most northern part of Anhui Province, is bounded bythe Jiangsu,Shandong and Henan provinces, settle in the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain.Dangshan dialect belonging to the Xuhuai small piece of Zhongyuan Mandarin, is oneof important part of Zhongyuan Mandarin, Some researchs had been done about itsneighbour dialect,but there is little research about THe Dangshan dialect,nowadays.THe main contents of this paper is based on the analysis of the Dangshan dialect, it’smainly described the details of the pronunciation system of the Dangshan dialect.THe paper is made up by four parts. THe first part including consonants,vowels andtones of Dangshan dialect,table of consonants combined with vowels, homophonetable;THe second part is the Dangshan dialect compared with Ancient Sounds,THeauthor summarized regular that from Ancient Sounds to Dangshan dialect;THe THirdpart is THe tones’ changes in words and expressions; THe Last part of this paper iscomparation with Xuhuai dialect’s two neighbor dialects. In order to supplement theinadequate of reaserch and data,the anthor used some methods to write thispaper,such as: description, comparison, chart ect. Hope can give more informationto research Xuhuai dialect.
