Jinqiangjinyun New Chapter

Recently, a new large ancient costume Jin opera "Wu zetian and Di renjie", as an excellent play, is elaborate crafted by Shanxi Province jin theater and brings a whole new feeling to the audience from script writing, tune design to stage art. This thesis focuses on the analysis of vocal music which consists of introduction, text with three chapters and epilogue three parts.The first chapter, a brief introduction to the Jin opera and new large ancient costume Jin opera "Wu zetian and Di renjie"; The second chapter, first, analyse the basic characteristics of main characters singing melody, find that a typical shanxi characteristic tone runs through the singing of national music style all along, and the scale and mode of the singing characteristics are analyzed and summarized, second, analyse TuoQiang features of vocal music, from TuoQiang position and role to TuoQiang types introduced respectively in detail; The third chapter, study on the relationship between the vocal music and the lyrics, concerning the relation of vocal music and lyrics singing tone, and that of vocal music, structure division of lyrics sentence and the variation of vocal music sentence and performance with detailed analysis.In this paper, based on the new large ancient costume Jin opera "Wu zetian and Di renjie" of the drama vocal music research, the innovative characteristics of vocal music are summarized. This work is mainly composed of traditional composing technique, monaural music, yet adding the western orchestral instrument in the band complication, which makes the music quite plentiful and full of rich local color, style and opera in shanxi. It’s expected in the future creation to introduce new composition techniques based on the traditional writing techniques, to enrich vocal music of Jin opera and speed up the opera innovation of the whole Jin opera from music innovation.
