Objective:The purpose of the study was to find out that the assembled state of zirconia abutments with the implants and detect the fracture resistance of the zirconia abutments, as well as its feasibility for clinical applications. Methods:Nanometer zirconia powder was used to manufacture the zirconia abutments by injection molding. The specification of the zirconia abutments was consistent with the Dentium Superline implant system. The optical imaging instrument was used to test the zirconia abutments compliance, according to the tolerance requirements eliminate unqualified base. Forty zirconia abutments were tested with40Dentium Superline implants. Firstly,40Dentium Superline implants were assembled with the zirconia abutments. The assembled state of zirconia abutments with the implants were measured under taking a dental film before and after being fixed with a central screw in30-N·cm torque. The films were measured by Digora for windows2.6. Secondly, the modules were divided into two groups (A&B). The fracture resistance of the zirconia abutments was measured by using the universal testing machine in two different ways. The implants in group A were fixed following the gingival level. And the group B’s implants were fixed following the bone level. All results were analyzed by SPSS17.0software.Results:1. The dental films showed that the taper gap in the implant-abutment interface was closed after being fixed with a central screw of30-N-cm torque, and the average removing distances of the zirconia abutments to the implants was0.18±0.02mm; The assembled state of zirconia abutments with the implants was changed from Clearance fit to Transition fit.2. The average fracture resistance of the zirconia abutments in group A was268.20±68.74N; The average fracture resistance of the zirconia abutments in group B was420.72±13.64N; The average fracture resistance of the zirconia abutments in group B was significantly much higher than group A, and there was a significant difference between two groups (P<0.05).Conclusion:1. The interface between zirconia abutments and Dentium Superline Implants shows a good fitness which provides a reliable basis for the zirconia abutments’ clinical application.2. The simulation of oral implant bone level implant way was closer to the real conditions of the oral cavity, and detecting the fracture resistance of the abutments in that way was much more reliable and credible.
