Background:Chronic kidney disease(CKD) is a kind of common clinical syndrome characterized by primary or secondary kidney injury. The vast majority of kidney disease, except for acute renal disease, are belong to CKD. It attacks slowly and snugly, and patients’ condition varies with the etiology of the disease, but the condition will lead to damage of renal dysfunction, could eventually grow into chronic renal failure (CRF), or even uremia. CKD is a common clinical refractory chronic diseases. In recent years, the incidence of CKD continues increases, and the prevalence of increasingly younger ages, brings a great deal of financial burden to the patient’s family and the country. Modern medical treatment of CKD is mainly for the treatment of primary disease and prevention of serious complications, but there is no good treatment for early and mid CKD or renal function deterioration, and side effect of large doses of hormones, cytotoxic drugs and immunosuppressant drugs is severe. Chinese medicine has obvious advantage in the treatment of CKD, especially for CKD early and mid phase hematuria, proteinuria, and the protection and improvement of renal function. The study of traditional Chinese medicine in treating CKD shows important significance.Purpose:Professor Lv Renhe is the first batch graduates of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, has experience of studying from Shi Jinmo, Qin Bowei and Zhu Chenyu. He is now the third batch of National Famous TCM Expert Academic Experience Inheriting instructor, post-doctoral instructor, professor of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine No.1Clinical Medical College. Engaged in clinical medicine for several decades, Professor Lv has his unique knowledge and experience on Chinese medicine treatment of various CKD. This thesis summarizes Professor Lv Renhe’s treatment of CKD from the’ deficiency’ pathogenesis theory and prescription law for reference and learning.The paper includes two parts, literature review and experience summary.Part Ⅰ, literature review. This section summarized the naming of CKD in ancient Chinese medicine books, as well as the pathogenesis and differentiation of modern Chinese medicine in the treatment of CKD, indicates that the vast majority of physicians considered that deficiency and Shi both exists, interior deficiency but exterior Shi. Interior deficiency mainly means spleen and kidney damage, and exterior Shi mainly includes wet and deposition. The primary treatment is to benefit kidney, and may also include spleen treatment, deposition dissolution, wet removal. But there are also some TCM doctor have a different understanding on CKD, they treat CKD following the treatment of rheumatism, or the treatment of Yu, or the treatment of Feng. These cases are also discussed with a brief summarize.Part II, Experience summary. By following Professor Lv Renhe’s outpatient and transcribing prescription, as well as interviewing Professor Lv and his patients, collecting part of patients’medical records, to do arrangement and give a summary. This section takes the "treating by following deficiency theory" part of Professor Lv’s experience in the treatment of CKD, summarized his academic experience and "small" prescriptions, including Budeficiencyeerdantang、Qishentang、Huangqizhuyutang、 Jixideficiencyduantang、Lushuangbudeficiencyetang、Jiaweishengmaisan、 Tailingdan.Conclusions:In professor Lu’s opinion, the progress of CKD is in line with the development of "Deficiency and Lao damage" in Chinese medicine, and introduced a TCM pathology hypothesis "Kidney merdian-collateral abdominal mass". He has much experience in the treatment of CKD. This essay concentrate on Professor Lu’s option that CKD patient "Kidney was Deficiency", describes Professor Lu’s experience in the treatment of CKD based on Deficiency theory, but can not cover all the experience of Professor Lv’s treatment of CKD.It would be great if this easy-to-learn method and prescription can be promoted, for your reference and study.
