| Objective:1.To observe the clinical efficacy of children’s kechuan plaster treating asthma in children.2.To investigate the dose-effect relationship of different doses of semen sinapis albae for the study of children’s kechuan plaster on the optimal prescription effectiveness, safety evaluation and its stability, and provide reliable data for its clinical application.3.To observe the adverse reactions of children’s kechuan plaster.Methods:150cases which meet the inclusion criteria of asthmatic children during remission were chosen. All children would be numbered sequentially according to treatment sequence based on random numbering, at the same time, divided into three groups for the balance and gave them three level doses of children’s kechuan plaster namely in high, medium and low amount. Dingchuan, Feishu, Thanzhong, Tiantu, Pishu and Shenshu were selected based on dialectical differences respectively. At each stage, make this stick once for three times by leaving it for1-2h and observe the curative effect after half year.Results:1.After a course of treatment for children’s kechuan plaster, the follow-up period is6months, semen sinapis albae large, medium and small-dose group in which children with asthma episodes, degree of cough and wheezing attack and attack phlegm, chest hold degree symptoms were significantly improved (P values are less than0.01).2.Semen sinapis albae large dose total clinical effective rate was90%, while the total clinical effective rate in the medium dose group was88%, all cases were significantly better than the low-dose group of Semen sinapis albae whose overall clinical response rate was64%(P values are less than0.05).3.Semen sinapis albae large and medium dose group whose improvement of main symptom and sub-symptom were superior to that of semen sinapis albae low-dose group (P values are less than0.05).4.Semen sinapis albae in the high-dose group and medium dose group had no significant difference in total efficiency(P>0.05).5.Semen sinapis albae in the high-dose group and medium dose group had no significant difference in the improvement of main and sub symptoms (P>0.05).6.NO adverse reactions for the150children that were enrolled. Only18cases of children with mild skin patching and red itchy symptoms (13patients in high-dose semen sinapis albae group, middle dose group of five cases, and low-dose group0case), children with slight red itch symptoms without any treatment can quickly disappear, and the situation didn’t lead to any broken skin. Conclusion: Children’s kechuan plaster of semen sinapis albae in high and medium group had a better effect than that in low-dose. All these amount in three groups were controlled in a secure dose and had no adverse effect situation occurred. Since there was no big effect difference between large and medium group and both of the dose groups had no adverse situation, however, the skin patching area may vary according to the amount of semen sinapis albae taken in. Thus considering the safety and other complicated elements, we advise to use the one in the medium dose. |
