A serious of aging problems appears when China enters into the aging society, which has brought widespread and profound impact on social and economic development and people’s life. With the increasing number of elderly population and gradual increasing in the prevalence of chronic disease, the demand for long-term care continues to expand. How to make older people live with dignity is not only a question of individual group, but also an urgent social problem. In order to cope with the challenges of aging and achieve sustainable economic and social development under this situation, many developed countries established Long-Term Care Insurance to alleviate the burden of the elderly themselves, the family and the country. After years of practice in foreign countries, this system has brought a lot of convenience to the life of older person, so as to compensate for the Pension Insurance’s and Medical Insurance’s coverage beyond the vacancy.The purpose of this writing is to analyze the factors affecting the Long-Term Care Insurance needs in the creative way of empirical research method when Long-Term Care Insurance system has not been established in our country. This paper introduces the concepts of Long-Term Care and Long-Term Care Insurance. Then the second part summarizes the research conclusions of international and domestic Long-Term Care Insurance papers. And the theoretical framework of my research has been built based on the related research achievement and theories. Then the forth part validates theoretical assumptions through research data: health factors, social factors, economic factors and concept factors are all influencing factors of long-term care insurance demand, and demographic variables are not the influencing factors In a word,long-term care insurance system has not been established in our country, so the factor system of my research will provide a reference for Long-Term Care Insurance in the future.
