Histopathological examination as an important medical technology is widelyused in medical diagnosis since accurate diagnosis of cancer and other diseasesusually requires histopathological examination of samples.Trained physicians,frequently board-certified as pathologists, are the personnel who performhistopathological examination and provide diagnostic information based on theirobservations.If the patient is diagnosed with disease,the histopathologicalexaminantion can help the clinician to determine the size and scope of the malignanttumor.Through the result of the histopathological examination,clinicians can make thecorrect diagnosis,formulate effective therapeutic plan.The process of tissue examination includes the following steps. In the first place,the pathological tissue is in process of fixation,paraffin infiltration, embedding and soon,then making it pathological biopsy. In the last place, we will stain them. Observingthe disease tissue structure by microscope, we can make the nature of lesions clearly,and determine the reason of disease.It can be seen that, the processing of pathological tissue is important step intissue examination. Nevertheless, many medical institution use the equipment ofpathological examination by importing from abroad in current situation. Heavilydependence on imports bring many inconvenience to maintenance daily. The domesticmanufactures equipment of histopathological examination have many disadvantages.For instance, the level of automation is poor, the operability is not good and it also hasrisk of regent divulge which is bad for medical staff. Moreover, The pathologicalequipment have two parts independently including processing machine andembedding machine at home and overseas. The system of pathological tissueprocessing integrates the function of processing machine and embedding machine ona machine. It is flexible, automated and can be easily operated.The system includes processing retort system, reagent management system,heating system and so on.The research results are as follows: In the first part, we will introduce the background of ‘System design ofautomatic processing of pathological tissue’,research significance and research status,the topic of whole frame structure and main work contents, the host computer systemand the slave computer system.In the second part, we will introduce the part of communication protocols. Theproject uses frame of RS485bus and MODBUS communication protocol. In this part,we put emphasis on concept of MODBUS communication protocol, including modeof communication, mechanism of communication and etc.The emphasis is the third part, it is about the design of the host computer system.In this part, we put emphasis on introducing the host computer system, the software ofthe host computer-KingView,we expound a design of the host computer in the base ofKingView. By the way of the host computer program design, the host computer willbe functional integrity,stable and reliable.In the last part, we introduce the scheme of testing function of system, theproblems encountered, the reasons of analyzing this problems and the methods toresolve them. Through these tests, the function of the host computer will be better andmuch more stable than before. Finally, we make the summary and outlook on thissystem design, and make a analyzing and introduce on the problems and theunfinished work.
