Title Clinical effect observation of56cases by PFNA/Gamma nail treatment on intertrochanteric fracture. Objective The retrospective analysis of clinical curative effect of56cases by PFNA/Gamma nail treatment on intertrochanteric fracture, to further conclusion the advantage of PFNA treatment on intertrochanteric fracture. Methods The retrospective analysis of patients with intertrochanteric fracture in56cases, Using PFNA and Gamma nail two kinds of surgical treatment. To observationhe patients in the near future curative effect, follow-up of patients to observe fracture healing time, the function recovery of hip, etc, presence of cutting and broken again. The results were statistically analyzed by spssl7.0, evaluation of two different treatment methods for clinical effect. Results In two group we observed the intraoperative bleeding, operation time, incision length and number of C arm fluoroscopy by t test, P values>0.05, both difference had no statistical significance. We used analysis of variance test, length of hospital stay F=0.004. P=0.000<0.05; Down time F=12.917, P=0.069>0.05; Fractures of the clinical healing time F=0.291, P=0.166>0.05; This suggests that two groups have statistical significance on the length of hospital stay, two groups of clinical healing time of down time, difference is not significant. Two groups of adverse situation with rank and inspection inspection (H), X2=4.164, P=0.041<0.05, the difference was statistically significant, PFNA had less screw cutting and postoperative femoral fracture phenomenon than Gamma nail. We use rank and inspection inspection (H) on Harris hip scores for difference in the two groups, X2=4.515, P=0.0.034<0.05, the difference has statistical significance. Conclusion With treatment of proximal femoral intramedullary nail antirotation type (PFNA), Gamma nail fixed on intertrochanteric fractures, operation time, both fairly on blood loss, length of incision, C arm fluoroscopy times; Onhospitalization time PFNA group had less time than the Gamma nail group, but the down time and clinical healing time of the two have no statistical significance; After12months follow-up observation, Gamma nail is easy to appear the phenomenon such as screw cutting, femoral fractures, and PFNA is relatively less; PFNA group in Harris hip score was89.3%, what is better than that of76%on the Gamma nail group.
