Correlation Between Tinnitus And Deafness TCM Type And Constitution

Objectives:This topic according to preventive treatment of disease as the observation point,use the method of clinical observation,to understand the correlation between TCM syndrome type of tinnitus and deafness with body constitution,to discuss that which constitution of patients will suffer this disease easier,to understand the contact between the characteristic of this kind of patients with TCM syndrome type of tinnitus and deafness,to discuss the negative emotions of those patients, in order to know the situation of TCM syndrome type in patients suffering from he tinnitus and deafness,expecting to provide the reference for the prevention and treatment of this disease.Methods: This research put ’the main problem for tinnitus or deafness patients’as the object of observation, and take the questionnaire to collect patient information.Moreover,the questionnaire includes two copies, one for deafness and tinnitus questionnaire, the other for body constitution,besides, the collected cases should be in progress for differentiation of syndromes and physical analysis.Then,using SPSS18.0software to analyse statistical data,such as gender, age, previous disease history, the affected ear, sleep, incentive, emotional problems, type of syndrome and constitution type.Results:This study collected62cases of tinnitus and deafness patients, including27males,35females, the minimum age of12years, the maximum age71years old, the average age is45;in62patients, there are35major problems is tinnitus, there are24major problems with the sudden hearing loss, there are3major problems with people for the hearing decline slowly;accounted for more than half of sleep in patients with poor; about half of the patients were able to recall the causative factors of the disease;77.4%of the patients with emotional problems, which is ranked first in the minds of too much.The survey found, in the TCM syndrome type of tinnitus and deafness front is the weakness of the spleen and stomach syndrome, phlegm stagnation, Qi and blood deficiency, kidney deficiency syndrome;The study found that tinnitus and deafness patients constitution to biased physique, ranked in the top3types of constitution were Qi deficiency, Yang deficiency and yin deficiency; from the correlation of body types in patients with this disease syndromes and the point of view, the use of statistical methods, using the chi-square test, the P>0.05, showed that there was no association.Conclusion:This study found that tinnitus and deafness patients, more women than men, the incidence of many people are middle-aged people, emotional problems is an important cause of the disease, in patients of tinnitus and deafness,there are more empty TCM syndrome type and empty type of body constitution, so the clinical prevention and treatment of this disease, regulation of mood, to supplement the insufficiency, can play a multiplier effect.
