| Purpose:1.Observation of eye acupuncture treatment of irritable bowel syndromediarrhea-predominant (liver depression and spleen deficiency) clinicalcurative effect.2.Exploration of eye acupuncture treatment of irritable bowel syndromediarrhea-predominant (liver depression and spleen deficiency) mechanism.Method:This study uses multi-center, random, parallel positive drug controldesign method, in2008January during—2010September, visits toaffiliated hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Shengjing Hospital affiliated to China Medical University, Liaoningprovince anorectal Hospital, three central match selected Chinese medicinediagnosis of diarrhea (liver depression and spleen deficiency), westernmedicine for the diagnosis of irritable bowel syndrome diarrhea-predominant (IBS-D), in accordance with the inclusion criteria andexclusion standard of cases the, a total of60patients were randomlydivided into treatment group and control group with30cases in each group;the treatment group were treated with eye acupuncture treatment, the mainpoints focus on the lower energizer, large intestine area, liver, spleen, lung area, control group treated with pinaverium bromide,50mg eachtime,3times a day, two groups were treated for4weeks. The use ofclinical symptoms, TCM syndrome, depression scale, self testing anxietyself testing scale as the indexes for evaluation of curative effectevaluation. By using single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT)brain was calculated in bilateral thalamus flow quantitative technology, to further explore the diarrhea type of eye acupuncture treatment of irritablebowel syndrome (liver stagnation and spleen) mechanism.Results:1. After treatment, results showed that symptom scores between the twogroups, the treatment group, abdominal pain or discomfort, stool and stoolfrequency more obvious points lower than the control group, P value <0.05,the difference was statistically significant; compare both groups, the mainsymptoms and total score compared with pre-treatment significantly reducedthe P value <0.05, the difference was statistically significant.2.After treatment, results showed that between the two groups depression,self-test anxiety scale scores, treatment group than in the control groupwere significantly lower, P values <0.05, the difference was statisticallysignificant; compare both groups, the treatment group decreasedsignificantly, P values <0.05, the difference was statistically significantin the control group was not changed significantly, P values>0.05, thedifference was not statistically significant.3. After treatment, results showed that the two groups of cerebral bloodflow rCBF values compared to the treatment group was significantly lowerthan the control group, P values <0.05, the difference was statisticallysignificant; both groups, the treatment group were significantly lower, Pvalues<0.05,the difference was statistically significant in the controlgroup was not changed significantly, P values>0.05, the difference was notstatistically significant.Conclusion:1. The eye acupuncture in the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome(diarrhea type) liver depression and spleen, its clinical efficacy, eye acupuncture treatment group indicators are better than the positive controlgroup.2. Eye acupuncture treatment reduced thalamic blood flow, inhibit therelease of hypothalamic corticotrophin-releasing factor (CRF), the effectof CRF-1receptor and the neural information transmission is thetreatment of irritable bowel syndrome IBS-D (liver depression and spleendeficiency)mechanism. |
