| Objective: To evaluate the clinical efficacy of Wendan decoction in thetreatment of angor pectoris.Methods:Literatures from WANFANG DATA BASE and VIP database,the full textof the CNKI database and Medline database regarding randomized controlledtrials of Wendan decoction in the treatment of angor pectoris werereviewed.As all searches end in2012.Related literatures were selectedand analyzed according to the standards. The method ologicalquality ofthe trials was assessed by the Jadad scale and evaluation was performedwith software RevMan5.2.A sensitivity analysis was carried on.Results:Eighteen randomized controlled trials meting the inclusioncriteria were selected and reviewed.All selected trials are inChinese.Only one trial is in high quality,the others are not. Wendandecoction plus conventional drugs are better than only conventional drugsin clinical curative efficiency、symptoms improved efficiency andelectrocardiogram improved efficiency. Wendan decoction is better thanthe drugs of control group in symptoms improved efficiency andelectrocardiogram improved efficiency. The funnel plot point out thatthere maybe publication bias. The results of sensitivity analysis are thesame as the original.The results analyzed by Meta-analysis were stableand reliable.Conclusion: Wendan decoction is effective to treat angor pectoris、improvesymptoms and electrocardiogram.But further confirmation with clinicalrandomized controlled trials of high quality, large sample and long-termfollow-up is needed. |
