Acupuncture For Migraine Affect Nitroglycerin Model Serum ET And NO Content

Purpose： To observe the acupuncture nitroglycerin-type migraine rat modelorbital venous serum endothelin (Endothelin ET) and nitric oxide (Nitric Oxide,NO) content, to further explore the migraine pathogenesis and acupuncturetreatment of migraine mechanism.Material and method：50healthy male SD rats, the rats were randomly dividedinto5groups,10in each group, the control group, model control group,acupuncture prevention group, acupuncture group and prevention+treatment group.Reference Cristina nitroglycerin migraine rat model of replication methodmodeling, modeling program or acupuncture treatment. After the experiment,3h,take the rats in each group orbital venous plasma double antibody sandwichenzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) to detect ET content in the serum, bynitrate reductase method of serum NO content for testing, and statisticalcomparative analysis.Results：Serum of rats in each group model of ET and NO content changes:1. The blank control rats orbital venous serum ET and NO content almost constant,maintaining a low level.2. After intraperitoneal injection nitroglycerin modeling, the content of ET andNO in serum increased, compared with the control group, the difference wasstatistically significant (p <0.05).3. Modeling successful acupuncture treatment group and prevention and a cupuncturegroup acupuncture Baihui, waiguan, Yanglingquan, Taichong treatment, serum levelsof ET and NO reduced, compared with the model group, the difference was significant(p <0.05).4. Acupuncture prevention group for7days acupuncture recycling mode, ET and NOin serum decreased, compared with the model group, the difference was significant (p <0.05).5. Compared with acupuncture and prevention group, ET and NO content inacupuncture group and prevention group is relatively high, the difference wassignificant (p <0.05).6. Compared with Acupuncture prevention group,acupuncture treatment group’s ETand NO were no significant differences (p <0.05).Conclusion：1. With reference to Cristina method, a nitroglycerin-type migraine rat modelwas successfully copied2. ET and NO levels in migraine rat model orbital venous serum were significantlyincreased, ET is a potent vasoconstrictor substance, and N0is a strong vasodilatorsubstance, both as an important neurotransmitter in normal human body, in a dynamicequilibrium, and work together to maintain the cerebrovascular normal tension,when this balance is destroyed, it will cause vasomotor disfunction, which canlead to the onset of migraine, cause a variety of symptoms.3. Acupuncture to related points reduced migraine’s ET and NO content in therat model orbital venous serum. we can speculated that acupuncture mobilized tostimulate the body’s self-regulating mechanism, inhibiting the secretion andrelease of plasma ET and NO, adjust the sympathetic nerve function, correctcerebrovascular, play a good role in the regulation of the central nervous system,may be one of the mechanisms of acupuncture to treat migraine headaches.
